Every journey has a purpose!
This is my attempt to get out of my comfort zone and start writing.....something that I find extremely challenging to do. I would much rather talk than write. Maybe this will add a new dimension to my form of expression:-) Do leave your thoughts behind!

Buscapades.........
I have been travelling in the Bangalore BMTC buses for about 7 years now.I used to take the BMTC to get to college and I still take it to reach my workplace. Whatever said and done it has become a part and parcel of my daily life and hence I can safely say it has contributed to making me the person I am:-).In jest...BMTC has made me the "thick skinned buffalo" that I am today. There are moments or times i still recollect so vividly..Still recollect the last minute studying for exams in the bus...recollect the day a cranky conductor asked me not to use my cell phone in the bus (I actually started avoiding taking that bus for the fear of his temper!!!!)....still recollect the girl next to me playing tamil songs in full blast through the loud speaker mode of her phone...still recollect the million times people would fall on me (when the bus driver used to put sudden brakes)and end up saying sarry sarry (read sorry sorry)...still recollect the time my wallet almost got flicked in the bus....still recollect the times I have gotten off the bus in the middle of nowhere only cause some sleazy guy was trying to touch me....still remember standing for hours together at majestic in the queue for the bus pass...Oh yes...how could I forget the time when two ladies had a catfight in the bus which ended up in one lady stripping the other off a bunch of her hair!!! Since we used to take the same bus to college everyday, I remember Smith and I would call up each other in the morning and try and schedule our timings such that we always ended up in the same bus to college. The bus time together with Smith meant sharing all the gossip that would happen, eat chips, drink frooty, listen to the radio by sharing the earphones and also fight with the crude ladies to get the seat which we deserved! Even now when I am highly stressed out I love the bus travel to office cause it is the only time I can plug on my earphones, blast music and remain safely aloof from the tough times..In fact,I have used the BMTC bus services so much that I would ace any exam which needs remembering bus numbers and their routes. It is no longer considered "uncool" to travel by bus (or should i say the degree of "uncoolness" has reduced)what with the cool Volvo bus trotting the road. So much so that even the hip teeny boppers of today are ready to embark on the "bus journey".
